I first spotted the work of interior designer, Jeannette Whitson, on the June 2013 cover of House Beautiful. Oh the amazingness! Not only did she design and decorate the house, that I am going to show you, but she is self taught. I am always jealous of designers that can break all the rules and some how manage to have a gorgeous home that still looks so put together. One thing I am always disappointed about is how newer built homes never seem to have very much character and charm as older homes. They just don't make them like they used. But Jeannette made something new look old by adding a ton of character. I will let her work do all the talking.
This entryway is epic.
Loves how she brings the outside in, with these fixtures.
This kitchen = amazing
This room (which on the cover) is what drew me to her designs. Who wouldn't love a big blue couch?
In the article, she says this staircase was inspired by a Pennsylvania Dutch barn. I am speechless.
And who wouldn't want to spend a relaxing evening here.
